 I bought this box set eighteen years ago in down town Chicago & I'm sure it has been long out of print by now. Although I'm into ballads, slow jams, sweet soul or whatever it's called in your neck of the woods. At that time, I didn't know that "Northern Soul" were all up-beat tunes. Familia Souldies Vol 25 - Doing Our Thing With Pride

Well, Well - who'd have believed it; the Familia has joined the Quarter Century Club !

From humble beginnings - a love of the music, an enthusiastic crew and a lot of whipping - we've managed to produce 25 of these bad boys over the past few years. That's some achievement when there are quite a few people involved and deadlines to be met. Most of the Familia made it in this time round; my thanks to them for their great picks. The G MAN has been doing his cover thing with us all of the way - we're grateful for your greatness yet again, G MAN ! 

We hope you enjoy our latest opus - it sounds pretty darned good to my ears, but maybe I'm a bit biased.  Let us know; it helps us to keep that pride and enthusiasm fired up ! As usual, there are scans in the package.

PS I know how to spell GUINNESS, having drunk gallons of the stuff over the years; so don't blame me for the writers' spelling on track #1. RossyBoy

For me, Memorial Day is a day to remember loved ones we have lost. On May 15,2014 I lost my brother Rudolph Raymond Aversa so I am dedicating this volume to Rudy.
